World Record Holder Track Star Kahmari Montgomery joins Hydra-Guard Sports Drink
World Record holder and American Track and Field star Kahmari Montgomery has recently announced his new partnership with Louisiana rising sports beverage brand, Hydra-Guard Sports Drink. Kahmari, a 400 meters specialist, is the current 2019 NCAA Track and Field Champion in the 400 meters and has also claimed the U.S. National Champion Title back in 2018.
The Chi-town native, who currently lives and trains in Houston, Texas, has had the opportunity to represent the USA Track and Field national Team on many occasions such as the World University Games in 2017, Athletics World Cup and NACAC in 2018. He currently holds the World Record for the Indoor 4x400m relay race alongside some of his University of Houston teammates.
As Kahmari prepares for the 2021 US Track and Field Olympic Trials, which will serve as a trial meet for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, he is very content and looking forward to the new partnership with Hydra-Guard. “Being Properly Hydrated is the number one thing any elite athlete needs to compete at the highest level! I believe that partnering with Hydra-Guard Sports Drink gives me a better and healthier way to achieve Proper Hydration!” says Kahmari.
The quickly rising natural sports drink originally launched in 2017 and expanded its footprint in recent years. CEO Joseph Tucker is very excited about the partnership with the track star and says “Having Kahmari join the Hydra-Guard team is an absolute honor and thrilled to be part of his hydration game to keep him operating at peak performance. Kahmari is an elite athlete and with a very big future ahead of him, we look forward to working with him for the years to come.”
Kahmari joined the Hydra-Guard as a brand ambassador in 2020 to complement his current training and journey to be in the best shape leading up to the 2021 U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials. “With Hydra-Guard Sports Drink, I can have an actual drink that combines electrolytes and low calories/sugar for pure hydration,” adds Montgomery.
