Originally born in bayou state, Louisiana and stand out recruit from Louisiana Tech has taken claim as one of the best defensive players in the NBA. Paul was selected by the Utah Jazz in the second round of the 2006 NBA draft (47th overall) and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team that season. He played in Utah until 2013, when he became a member of the Hawks. Millsap is currently in his final year of his $90 million dollar contract with the Denver Nuggets, who he joined in July of 2017.
