ABOUT

American goalkeeper and Houston Dash’s star Jane Campbell has recently announced a new partnership with Louisiana’s rising beverage brand Hydra-Guard Sports Drink. Jane, a talented young goalkeeper who has U.S. Women's National Team experience, now joins the roster of elite professional athletes such as Denver Nuggets’ Paul Millsap, Minnesota VikingsAlex Mattison, Dallas Cowboys’ Cedrick Wilson and New Orleans Saints' Terron Armstead.

While at Stanford, Jane defended 35 shutouts, tied for the most in program history at Stanford’s women’s soccer team, and was also named to the 2016 NSCAA All-American Team in her final year. Jane made her senior team debut with the United States Women’s National Team at BBVA Compass Stadium on April 9 in 2017, entering as a substitute vs. Russia. On January 12, 2017, Jane was selected by the Houston Dash as the 15th pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft. That year, Campbell was named a finalist for 2017 NWSL Rookie of the year.

Jane is thrilled to join Hydra-Guard’s team in early 2020, as she recently won the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup, a one-off tournament during the 2020 National Women's Soccer League season to mark the league's return to action from the COVID-19 pandemic. The 23-game tournament kicked off on June 27, at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah. Jane Campbell’s Houston Dash defeated the Chicago Red Stars, 2-0, to capture their first trophy in club history and become 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup Champions.

“Joining the Hydra-Guard team is quite the honor. Being able to fuel my body with a product that is not only healthy, but very efficient in hydration is something that I have been searching for for quite some time. Knowing the company is in Louisiana and so close to my home market in Houston is awesome and comforting knowing I'll be working with a team that is right next door. Hydra-Guard's product is top notch and I wouldn't want to hydrate and replenish after a long training day without any other drink,” says Campbell.

Hydra-Guard’s CEO Joseph Tucker says "Jane is a trail blazer and inspiration to so many young women that want to follow in her footsteps in professional sports and we are honored to be her chosen sports drink to keep her properly hydrated.”
